Introduction: IOMT Health Band

 

Problems:

Public health is in danger because of an ever increasing stressful lifestyle. With increase in no. of patients the doctor’s fees has also increased which is affecting people mainly who cannot afford high fees or who are not suffering from major ailments but get to know so only after paying a hefty fee to the doctor.
The recent research demonstrates that most of the major health ailments are the result of careless attitude towards the minor health ailments and daily-to-do activities.
Majority of these issues can be solved by just following regular exercise, good diet, proper sleep pattern. But how does a patient know what diet is good or which exercise to follow and more importantly whether the plan that he/she is following is working properly for him/her.
The absence of such a mechanism imposes difficulty to the patients, thus leading him to the option, either to go to the doctor that means heavy fee or ignore the ailment which ultimately turns into major health issues

Motive:

To design and develop a IoT based Health band that can be customized according to user’s demand for best comfort.

A cost-efficient ‘MAKE IN INDIA’ product that is easily affordable by the users, especially in India.
Collect and analyze data for users to provide them appropriate exercises and health measures for fitness.

Features:

Customized, controlled by the data obtained from the IoT Nano 33 BLE Sense board.

IoT based, Supports Cloud storage.

Gesture recognition using Artificial Intelligence/ Deep Learning.

Light weight, water resistant 3D printed module.

Design utilizes COTS (Commercial off-the-shelf) parts as much as possible..
